It is the city most kiwis want to retire to – with the sunshine, great options in food, parks and access to parks, rivers and beaches, who wouldn’t?

Food options are diverse – from dishes made from locally available organic fruits and vegetables and regional seafood; along with most of the popular world cuisines. Nelson’s range of boutique wineries (over 30 on last count) and breweries only enhance its reputation. To top of it all, temperate weather and easy access to Nelson make it an ideal romp for tourists and natives alike.
